QR Codes
QR codes are everywhere! QR code is short for "quick response code". QR codes are pretty much like barcodes that you can scan with your smartphone which can link you to a website, contact info, a text, SMS, Wifi network, etc. QR codes are also popular in Japan. There are many free apps you can choose from like "QR Droid" for Android and "Scan" for iOS.

OMG My iPad!
So as you know I purchased an iPad recently. Yeah, after a long decision I purchased a 32gb (wifi only) first generation iPad and I LOVE IT! I didn't go with the iPad2 because I didn't feel that spending a hundred dollars more for a low quality front and back facing camera was worth it. This giant iPod Touch is all I ever wanted. I've been using my iPad mainly for reading, playing games, watching Netflix, taking notes, tweeting, checking my feed on Pulse and checking email. Yay for consuming massive amounts of content on my iPad! Lol! So now I can finally start blogging about awesome iPad apps that I enjoy using. Well I guess that's it for now. Look out for my next iPad related blog!

My Manhattan Wonderland
I'm here in NY for a few weeks having a fabulous time! I love city life. Skylines, subway trains, taxis and crowded street corners makes New York what it is. There is something really special about this place.
There is something about Time Square that is so magical. The lights, massive billboards and street performers make me feel like I belong. I get that strong feeling of acceptance and feel that anything is possible.
In the photo above is a man in a jumpsuit holding a pink balloon. He was standing in the middle of the sidewalk frozen. He didn't make a sound or move an inch. Haha! For a second I thought he was a sculpture made of wax.

The pretzels smell so good! But food stands like the one above will turn me into a FATTY!
I love visiting the Europa Cafe. They have a salad bar, sub sandwich counter and a baked good counter with all the yummy sweet treats. I always go to the salad bar. They carry a wide variety of salad toppings. The cool thing about this place is that most of their foods have a calorie label. So if you are on a diet or like to watch your weight this place may be a great option.I will blog more on my trip in NY soon!

Bahamas Trip 2011
This was my first cruise and first my trip out of the U.S. I was very excited to visit a new country and had no idea what to expect. I went on a three day cruise on the Carnival Cruise Ship to Nassau, Bahamas. I had a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute of it.
The businesses and homes in Nassau, Bahamas were brightly colored. All the beautiful vibrant colors made it a utopia.
Believe it or not this beach is called "Cabbage Beach". I had to climb my way down a rocky hill to get down to the beach but it was worth it.

The Market
The Market
I had to stop and shop at the local market.
She sells sea shells by the seashore.
Bottled sand for sale!
I don't know why but every time I look at this photo I start singing "Castles Made of Sand" by Jimi Hendrix.

What I Ate
Warm apple pie with Vanilla ice cream.
I didn't have the ice cream gave it to my brother.

This Indian dish was my favorite.
The chick peas were wonderful with garlic bread, green peas, rice and cumin spice. Yummm! Thinking about it makes my mouth water.
Fries, fries and....more fries. Haha!
